Anya is a Taiwanese actress, formerly known as Wu Anya. Born in Taiwan, she migrated to the United States with her family at the age of six. After graduating from college, she signed a contract with a Taiwanese record company, but after the recording of three songs of her personal EP, the company was dissolved due to financial crisis, and Anya's dream of becoming a singer was shattered. While in Taiwan and preparing for her album release, Anya became the first girl DJ in Taiwan clubs. She caught a lot of media attention, including Hong Kong media.
