Ariel Lin, a Taiwanese actress and singer, began her career in 2002 with the TV drama "Seventeen-Year-Old's Condition." She was born in Yilan, Taiwan, and attended schools in Taipei and New Taipei City, including Lujiang Elementary School, Sanmin Junior High School, and Ming Lun Senior High School. After graduating in 2001, she pursued Korean Language studies at National Chengchi University, graduating in 2005. In September 2013, she undertook a Master's program in Screen Acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. During her university years, she entered the entertainment industry. Ariel Lin published her autobiography "Being Myself, Why Apologize?" in 2022. She also authored "Ariel's Youth Blog" in September 2005. In February 2009, Ariel Lin underwent treatment for a pituitary adenoma but resumed work in April and joined Avex Taiwan in May, releasing her debut Mandarin album "Meeting Happiness" in July.
