Bai Jing was a Chinese actress born to an ordinary family in Liaoning Province and was actively involved in performances as early as her kindergarten days. With her talent in singing and dancing, she entered the China Coal Mine Art Troupe Staff Secondary Art School in 1996 to study dance. In April 1999, she joined the Communist Youth League of China. In 2000, she received training in the music group at Guolun Xinguang Art Centre.
