Carrie Wong is a Singaporean actress who started as a runway model and was later discovered by Singapore TV talent reality show Hey Gorgeous in 2013. She emerged as one of the finalists and landed her first role in a rugby-themed TV series, Scrum. In 2014, Carrie received a role as a murderous schizophrenic in TV series Against the Tide, acting alongside renowned Singapore actors Christopher Lee and Rui En. The same year, she garnered critical acclaim for her portrayal of Tang Shui Mei (Sweet Soup Lass) in TV series Tumultuous Times which got her nominated for Best Supporting Actress & Best Newcomer at Star Awards 2015. Late in 2014, Carrie participated in the long-running 255-episodes TV series 118. In 2015, she was given her first lead role in a romantic comedy series Sealed with a Kiss. Carrie won the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes at the Star Awards for 5 consecutive years from 2015 to 2019.
