Cheryl Yang is a Taiwanese actress and model. She completed her education at Daan Elementary School, Heping Junior High School, and the International Trade program at Taipei Private Yuda Vocational High School. Yang's early life was marked by her parents' divorce when she was 10, due to her father's infidelity. She and her brother, Yang Zhi Yao, lived with their father, while their mother returned home to support them, enduring domestic violence. In 1998, their mother took them and left their father, cutting off ties. In 2014, after being baptized and becoming a Christian, Yang reconciled with her father. Yang began her acting career in commercials at the age of 15 before transitioning into acting. During the filming of "Queen of the Wastes" in 2009, she dated Huai Qiu for over a year.
