He was born in Daegu, South Korea and attended Hanlim Multi Art School. He was a trainee at BigHit for 2 years before debuting as a member of TXT. On May 31, 2022, TXT made their first-ever appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and their first-ever world tour “ACT : LOVE SICK,” in the United States in July 2022..
