Kong Chan Sik, professionally known as Gong Chan, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and actor, and a member of the boy group B1A4 (비원에이포). He graduated from Seoul Performing Arts High School and trained for approximately two years before his debut. Gong Chan made his debut with B1A4 in April 2011, participating as the lead dancer, vocalist, visual, face of the group, and maknae, with the release of their first EP, "Let's Fly." He began his acting career in 2015 with a role in the drama "Delicious Love" (맛있는 연애) and has appeared in various dramas since. In March 2023, WM Entertainment (WM엔터테인먼트) confirmed that he was exempted from military duty due to unspecified health reasons.
