Henry is the multi-talented Canadian (of Taiwanese / Hong Kongese descent) singer-songwriter, rapper, producer, and actor from Toronto. He is multi-lingual and boasts varying degrees of fluency in English (his mother tongue) Mandarin, Korean, Cantonese, Japanese, Thai, and even French, the bonus of living in a bilingual country. He’s also a musical powerhouse, with the violin / electric violin, guitar, piano and drums in his répertoire. He can also dance. He is best known as a member of SuperJunior's Chinese sub-group, Super Junior-M. Western audiences may recognize him from his 2019 appearance in the Disney film ‘A Dog’s Journey’. Henry made his solo debut in early June of 2013 with the release of his mini-album ´Trap’. He is also a member of the composing and production team, ‘Noize Bank’, alongside Gen Neo, Neil Nallas, and Isaac Han. They produced ´Go’ and ´It's You’ from Super Junior-M's ´Break Down’ and several songs from Henry’s ´Trap’. On April 29th, 2018, his contract with SM Entertainment ended and he left the agency after 10 years since he debuted in 2008. In June 2019, Henry formed his own label, Monster Entertainment Group in order to assume artistic control over his career and its direction. Members of his fan base are known as ´Strings’. He was appointed as the new ambassador of school violence prevention at Mapo Police Station in Seoul on March 15th, 2022.
