Himura Yuki is a Japanese comedian, presenter, and actor, born in Kurose, Higashihiroshima, Hiroshima, Japan. He is part of the comedy duo Banana Man. Himura grew up in Chuo, Sagamihara, Kanagawa, Japan, and is affiliated with Horipro Com. His wife, Kanda Aika, is a freelance announcer. He graduated from Sukoyaka Nursery School and then from Sagamihara Municipal Yokoyama Elementary School. After completing junior high school at Sagamihara Municipal Kamizawa Junior High School, he attended Kanagawa Prefectural Sagamidai High School. Himura's entry into comedy was sparked by his classmates' discussions about the "La Mama Newcomer Comedy Contest". Intrigued, he auditioned and pursued comedy thereafter. Following his graduation from high school, he committed to a career in entertainment, joining Watanabe's agency in 1991. In April 2015, Himura's relationship with former NHK announcer Kanda Aika was publicly disclosed by the photo magazine "Friday", an acknowledgment confirmed by both of their agencies. They later married on April 7, 2018, as announced by Himura during the radio program "Banana Moon GOLD" on TBS Radio. In September 2013, Himura faced a health setback when he was urgently hospitalized due to asthma symptoms aggravated by hypertension.
