Hong Ji Min is a South Korean actres. She graduated from Masan Jeil Girls’ High School and later obtained associates' degrees in Early Childhood Education and in Theater from Changwon Munseong University and the Seoul College of Arts, respectively. She then obtained a bachelor's degree in Korean Language and Literature from Korea Open University and a master's degree in Musical Acting from Dankook University. She made her debut in 1996 with a role in the musical "Aerang and Bebijang" (애랑과 배비장), and her husky voice and powerful singing ability are widely considered among the best in South Korean musical circles.
