Ikuta Toma is a Japanese actor and entertainer born in Muroran, Hokkaido, Japan. He has a younger brother, Ikuta Ryusei, who is a Fuji TV announcer. His wife is the actress Nana Seino. Ikuta spent his early childhood in Muroran, Hokkaido, until the age of two. In 1996, his mother, a fan of the group SMAP, submitted his resume in hopes of meeting them, which led to his audition and subsequent acceptance into Johnny & Associates at the age of 11. He began his career as a Johnny's Jr. and two months later, joined the educational program "Tensai Terebi-kun" (NHK Educational) as a "Terebi Senshi" for a two-year period. During his time on the show, he participated in a project that formed the band Strawberry Parfait. In 1997, Ikuta made his debut as a child actor in the NHK morning drama series "Aguri". That same year, he also co-founded the Johnny's Jr. unit MAIN. On February 14, 2003, Ikuta graduated from Horikoshi High School. In his personal life, Ikuta began a relationship with actress Nana Seino after working together on the drama "Uroboros: This Love Knows No Justice", which aired in 2015. After dating for five years, they submitted their marriage registration on June 1, 2020, and publicly announced their marriage on June 5 of the same year. Their first child was born on March 9, 2022.
