Jeon Jung Kook is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer and member of the boy group BTS (방탄소년단). He graduated high school from Seoul's School of Performing Arts. At the age of fifteen, Jungkook made his debut as a member of BTS on Mnet's M! Countdown with the track "No More Dream" on June 13, 2013. On March 3, 2022, he graduated from Global Cyber University with a degree in Broadcasting and Entertainment. He earned a President’s Award, the highest honour bestowed on a graduate. He enlisted in the military on December 12, 2023. With the rest of the group, he went on to win a series of awards and performed at several events, such as the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) and Billboard Music Awards (BBMA). BTS was awarded the Hwagwan of Order of Cultural Merit by the President of South Korea for contributing Korean Culture and Literature to the world, making Jung Kook the youngest recipient ever to receive the Order of Cultural Merit. On July 14, 2023, Jungkook released his solo debut album with the song "Seven." Since its release, "Seven" has skyrocketed on the charts, shattering records across various music platforms, including breaking the record for fastest song to get one billion streams on Spotify.
