Jiang Kai is a Chinese actor and director, born in Dalian of Liaoning Province and graduated from the Department of Acting of Liaoning University. In 1991, he entered showbiz with his participation in the 1994 adaptation "Romance of Three Kingdoms", one of the four famous classics of Chinese classical literature. Since then, he has played major roles in film and TV dramas. In 2014, one of his representative works "Ip Man" won two awards, namely The 10th China TV Golden Eagle Art Festival "Golden Eagle Award for Outstanding TV Series", and the National Top Ten TV Producers "Excellent TV Drama Award".
