Jung Eun Ji, born Jung Hye Rim in Haeundae, Busan, South Korea, is a singer, songwriter, actor, and voice actor. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Apink (에이핑크) which debuted in 2011 under the label IST Entertainment (아이에스티엔터테인먼트). In November 2010, she passed the auditions to become the main singer of Apink. She had not received any professional training prior to joining Apink, and had trained for only two months with the group before debuting. Jung Eun Ji made her acting debut by playing the female protagonist in "Reply 1997." The role won her several awards, including the 49th Baeksang Arts Award for Best New TV Actress.
