Michiko Kuwano was a Japanese actress. First working as a "sweets girl" for Morinaga & Company, Kuwano joined the Shochiku studio in 1934, debuting in Hiroshi Shimizu's Kinkanshoku. She gave birth to a girl in 1942, who later became the actress Miyuki Kuwano, and resumed work in 1943, but collapsed on the set of Kenji Mizoguchi's Victory of Women in 1946.
