Lee Jung Hee, known professionally as Lee Jung, is a South Korean singer. He graduated from Jeongja High School and later obtained two bachelor's degrees, one in Visual Music from Dong-A University of Arts and the other in Sports & Leisure from Nambu University. He made his official debut, under his full name, in 2002 as a part of the 5-member group "7Dayz" but the album was not successful and the agency decided to disband the group and allowed Lee to go solo as he drew comparisons to Kim Gun Mo. In 2004, he suffered from severe depression when former bandmate Seo Jae Ho died in a car accident at the age of 22, blaming himself for not being able to keep "7Dayz" together. He enlisted in the military and suffered another setback when a business partner stole money from their joint business and ran away taking advantage of Lee's military duties. After being discharged he was charged with drunken driving in two separate occasions in 2010 and in 2016.
