Ailee is an American singer and actress based in South Korea. She's Wheesung's trainee and on September 13, 2011, they held a smooth performance on the MBC’s Chuseok special episode of “Singer and Trainee”. Her 2017 single, "I Will Go to You Like the First Snow", recorded for the soundtrack of the television drama series Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, won several awards and was the most digitally successful song of that year, becoming the best-selling record in movies and dramas in the Korean sound record market. In February 2019. she left YMC Entertainment after 8 years. On September 10, 2019 she announced on Instagram that she started a new company named, Rocket3 Entertainment. On July 21, 2021 she signed with THE L1VE (VIXX Ravi's newly established label) as the first artist. On March 7, 2022, Ailee released her English studio album I'm Lovin' Amy. Her exclusive contract with THE L1VE expired at the end of July 2022 and she parted ways with the agency.
