Ma Jian is a Chinese actor, born in Shijiazhuang of Hebei Province and graduated from the University of Utah. Prior to showbiz, Ma was a professional basketball player and had been on the Chinese National Men's Basketball Team. His stint as a basketball player spanned from his training enrolment in 1983 to his retirement in 2003.
