After returning to Taiwan in 2006, she signed with producer Angie Chai in 2007, joining Comic International Productions. Michelle Chen dated Alan Kuo for eight months in 2010. On August 26, 2015, she confirmed her relationship with actor Chen Xiao. They registered their marriage on July 5, 2016, and announced her pregnancy the same day.
