Moon Jae Yun, known simply as Jaeyun or by his English name Alex Moon, is a South Korean-New Zealander singer, dancer and member of 8TURN (에잇턴). He graduated from Seoul Performing Arts High School and is currently enrolled in the Acting program at the Seoul Institute of the Arts. Before debuting, he was a trainee at Live Works Company between 2017 and 2018 and entered a few survival shows ("Boys24" and "MIXNINE") but was unsuccessful and decided to switch companies. He made his debut in January 2023 as the group's leader, main dancer and main vocalist with their first mini-album, "8TURNRISE". They are managed by MNH Entertainment (MNH엔터테인먼트).
