His paternal uncle is actor Tokuma Nishioka, and his cousin is actress Yuki Nishioka. Debuted in the entertainment world in 1996. In 1999, starred in the role of Tatsumi Matoi / Gored in "First Aid Squadron Go Go Five". On February 18, 2007, he married a woman he had been dating for nine years. Taking this opportunity, he retired from the entertainment world and started a custom motorcycle shop "Selected" specializing in Harley-Davidson with Hiyu Suzuki.
