Oh Man Seok is a South Korean actor active in theater, musicals as well as films and dramas. He studied at Seoul Yeong-dong High School and earned a major in Acting at the Korea Arts Unification School. His acting debut was in 1999 in the play Faust. He established himself as a musical theatre star with his acclaimed leading role in the show Hedwig and the Angry Inch in 2005. He was awarded Best Actor in the 11th Korea Musical Awards for it. He gained mainstream fame with his role as Jang Taek Gi in The Vineyard Man. He has since remained active in theater, musicals, and dramas. He has also directed a few plays and musical shows. He was married to costume designer Jo Sang Kyung in 2001, with whom he has one daughter, but they divorced after 6 years in May 2007. In 2017 it had been reported that he was in a relationship with a non celebrity. The couple tied the knot in early 2018 and the news was revealed later by his agency Nice Person Company on June of 2018.
