"Om" Akapan Namatra was a Thai actor. He graduated from Bangkok University and made his television debut through the 2008 lakorn "Ruk Sorn Kaen" ( รักซ่อนแค้น). He didn't get his first main role until 2010 with the show "Sao Chai Hi-Tech" (สาวใช้ไฮเทค). Following his success on the small screen, he made his big screen debut in the 2013 film "Coffee Please" (Coffee Please แก้วนี้หัวใจสั่น). Outside of acting, he was a qualified diver and frequently took part in diving expeditions. Om was diagnosed with stage 2–3 heart cancer in October 2022. As a result of his poor health, he paused all his projects and underwent treatment. On September 21st, 2024, he passed away peacefully at the age of thirty-nine. (Source: MyDramaList).
