Choi Seung Cheol, better known by his stage name S.Coups, is the leader of the Korean Boy Group Seventeen (세븐틴) who are under Pledis Entertainment (플레디스 엔터테인먼트). Becoming a trainee in 2010, he was one of the original Pledis Boys and was supposed to debut with NU’EST (뉴이스트). He was formerly a member of Tempest (템페스트) before Seventeen was created. In August of 2023, S.Coups sustained an injury to his left knee. The torn ACL required reconstructive surgery, exempting him from military service. (Source: MyDramaList).
