Shim Chang Min is a South Korean singer, actor, and member of the K-pop boy group TVXQ under SM Entertainment. He was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He was first scouted by a talent agent at the age of 14 while playing badminton in gym class. He made his debut as the youngest member of TVXQ in December 2003. He has written the lyrics to many of the group’s hit songs. He made his acting debut with the other members of TVXQ in the 2006 miniseries “Vacation.” He has also been a popular participant in a variety of shows, including hosting the show “Moonlight Prince” in 2013. On November 19, 2015, Chang Min enlisted for his mandatory military service and was discharged on August 18, 2017.
