Shotaro Osaki, known simply as Shotaro, is a Japanese singer, dancer, former member of NCT (participated in the sub-unit NCT U) and current member of RIIZE (short for "Rise & Realize"). Before debuting, he was a student EXPG Studio in Japan and he sent his audition tape to SM Entertainment and was accepted, spending 6 months as a trainee. He made his debut in 2020 when he was introduced as a new member of NCT's sub-unit NCT U during a special broadcast on V Live. The sub-unit debuted in 2016 and is the only one without fixed members as they change depending on the song concept. He joined for the promotion of their 2nd full-length album "NCT Resonance Pt. 1" and remained with the group until the agency decided to make some changes.
