Yuan Li is a Chinese actress, born in Hangzhou of Zhejiang Province and graduated from Beijing Film Academy. She was talent scouted when she was in high school, and took part in many commercials. During the process of shooting commercials, she gradually developed an interest in acting. In 1994, she officially entered showbiz when she participated in her first anti-Japanese film "Flying Tigers". In 2000, she won the 18th China TV Golden Eagle Award for Best Supporting Actress in "Yong Bu Ming Mu".
