Wakamatsu Setsuro is an alumni of Nihon University College of Arts, graduating from faculty of broadcasting. He is known for his association with Oda Yuji, Sato Koichi and Matsushima Nanako in multiple dramas and movies. As a director, Setsuro Wakamatsu has produced multiple award-winning and nominated artworks . These include Sore Ga Kotae Da! (1997), Mayonaka no Ame (2003), Shizumanu Taiyo (2009).
