Annie Yi is a Taiwanese singer and actress born in Taipei, Taiwan. In the early 1990s, she ventured to Hong Kong for her career, followed by a stint in Japan from 1996 to 1997. Her father is from Jinan, Shandong, China, and came to Taiwan with the army during the Chinese Civil War.
