Danson Tang, a Taiwanese actor and singer, was born in Keelung, Taiwan. His father passed away in a construction accident when he was 13, leaving his mother to support him and his older sister alone. As the only male in the family, he took on significant responsibilities from a young age. After graduating from Keelung Private De-Xin High School, Tang initially attended Asia University before transferring to Hsing Wu University's Applied English department. In 2003, while working at a sushi restaurant in Japan, Tang was scouted by Taiwan's GTV drama department. After three months of consideration, he decided to pursue a career in entertainment. Tang made his debut in the idol drama "The X-Family" on GTV in May 2004. Later, on July 9, 2007, he signed with Avex Taiwan and released his debut album "Ai Wo" on August 17.
