Ham Eun Jung is a South Korean idol singer, rapper, dancer, and actress. Ham began taking taekwondo instruction in seventh grade and went on to win three competitions. Following her high school graduation in 2007, her mother decided to leave teaching piano and focused on Ham's career. Ham went on to Dongguk University later that year, where she studied performing. She rose to prominence with her status as a member of the K-pop girl group T-ara, and she was the first leader of the group until September 2010. May 7, 2015, she made her solo debut as Elsie with the release of her EP, I'm Good. Ham revealed her departure from MBK after her contract expired in January 2018. Since January 3, 2018, T-ara went on an indefinite hiatus in order to allow the members to pursue their solo careers. From then, she went on to partake in many different acting roles. On May 24, 2018, it was confirmed that Ham was cast in the upcoming KBS's drama "Lovely Horribly". On February 26, 2019, it was announced that Ham would be the narrator for the Korea-Vietnam co-production documentary named "The Muse Story On July 15, 2021, Ham left Cabin 74 after her contract expired. On September 27, 2021, she signed an exclusive contract with Management Koo. T-ara’s latest comeback was on November 15, 2021 second single album Re:T-ara.
