Hou Ying Jue, born as Hou Jiao in Beijing, is a Chinese actress. After her graduation in 2001 from the Performance Department of Beijing Film Academy, she made her debut in the 2005 family drama "Mom, What Can I Do To Love You". She founded the Xi Yingren Theatre Company, serving as artistic director, guidance and consultant. In 2018, she was selected as a member of the Dongcheng Playwrights Association and in 2019, her first self-written and self-directed stage play "The Day After Tomorrow" won the "Best Script in the Small Drama Category" at the "Drama China" awards.
