Ji Chang Wook is a South Korean actor and singer. He studied performing arts at Dankook University and enlisted in the military on August 14, 2017, before being discharged on April 27, 2019. Chang Wook began his career in musical theater and made his onscreen debut in the 2006 film "Days..." In 2011, he won the "Excellence Award, Actor in a Daily Drama” at the KBS Drama Awards for his role in the drama "Smile, Dong Hae" (웃어라 동해야) as well as "Excellence Award" in a Special Project Drama at the 2013 MBC Drama Awards for his role in the drama "Empress Ki" (기황후). In 2019, he won "Best Actor" at the Asia Artist Awards. In 2013, he was also awarded “Best New Actor” at The Musical Awards for his performance in the musical "The Days." He parted ways with Glorious Entertainment in May 2023. He's now under Spring Company which was founded by his longtime manager. (Source: MyDramaList).
