Kim Jung Eun is a South Korean actor under Management Redwoods (매니지먼트 레드우즈). She graduated from Dongduk Girls’ High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in film studies from Konkuk University and a master's and Ph.D in theatre and film from Hanyang University. She made her debut in 1995 as part of the 25th open recruitment for talent at MBC and obtained a minor role in the movie "My Old Sweetheart." In 1997, she appeared in her first drama, "Star in My Heart" (별은 내 가슴에). She has been recognized many times for her skillful acting, beginning in 1999 with the New Actress Award at the MBC Drama Awards and including awards at the SBS Drama Awards, the Baeksang Arts Awards, Blue Dragon Film Awards, among other prestigious achievements.
