Ko Chia Yen is a Taiwanese actress who began her career in 2005 after being discovered by a talent scout and appearing in music videos. Her acting debut was in the 2006 film "The Beginning of a Year." Before transitioning to acting, she worked as a kindergarten teacher. In 2021, Ko published a collection of essays titled "Goodbye, Girl" through Reprint Culture. Ko Chia Yen married her boyfriend at 18, but the marriage ended after about two years. During the filming of "The Beginning of a Year," she was in a relationship with Ko Yu Lun, and she dated Wang Bo Jie while working on "The Contest Begins."
