Kodo Kuninori was a Japanese actor born in Takasago City, Hyogo Prefecture. His real name is Tanigawa Saichiro. Before the war, he was active in Teikoku Kinema and Utaemon Ichikawa productions and appeared in Toho during and after the war. In 1901, after dropping out of the junior high school of Kansai Gakuin, he joined the new school Murata Masao, and after making his stage debut at Osaka Yokoiza, he traveled to various places on a tour. In 1926, after joining the Ashiya Film Factory and the Union Film Artists Association due to the internal conflict of Teikoku Kinema, he joined the front-line film association of director Furumi Takuji in the same year and appeared in "Kowashiki Kaigo". After the 1927 movement, he joined Ichikawa Utaemon Productions Ayameike Studio and was active as one of the main members. Kodo transferred to Shochiku Shimogamo Studio in 1936, and to Toho in 1939, and appeared in several works under the name of Kodo Kokuten. He died on January 22, 1960, at the age of 72. His last work is "Ankokugai no Kaoyaku" in 1959..
