Nakatani Noboru, a Japanese actor born in Takanawa, Shiba, Tokyo, Japan, initially enrolled in Chuo University’s Faculty of Law but left to pursue a career in theater. He began his theatrical journey with Bungakuza Theatre Research Institute in 1950, becoming a full member in 1951. His film debut came in 1953 with "An Inlet of Muddy Water." In 1963, Nakatani co-founded Theatre Company Kumo, later co-establishing En Theatre Company in 1975. He served as its representative and president of the managing corporation from 1981 onwards. Nakatani married actress Kishida Kyoko in 1954, with whom he had one daughter before their divorce in 1978. He remarried in 1980 and divorced again in 1997 before marrying for the third time in 2002. Nakatani Noboru passed away on November 16, 2006, at a hospital in Minato, Tokyo, at the age of 77 due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. (Source: MyDramaList).
