Nancy Jewel McDonie, known as Nancy, is an American singer and dancer, and a former member of the K-pop group MOMOLAND. Born in South Korea, she moved to Columbus, Ohio, at the age of two. Her father is American, and her mother is South Korean. After spending six years in the U.S., her family returned to South Korea. Nancy graduated from Hanlim Entertainment Arts High School, where she studied Musical Performance, and is currently enrolled in the Media Visual Acting program at Sungshin Women's University. Prior to her debut, she worked as a child actor and model, participated in a hip-hop dance crew called "Cutie Pies" on "Korea's Got Talent," and trained at Nega Network. After six years of training, she debuted in 2016 as a member of MOMOLAND, serving as the group's lead vocalist, lead dancer, visual, center, and youngest member (maknae). MOMOLAND was formed through the survival show "Finding Momoland" and was managed by MLD Entertainment. The group's debut mini-album was titled "Welcome to Momoland".
