Song Yu Vin is a South Korean singer, dancer, actor and former member of MYTEEN (마이틴) and B.O.Y (비오브유; previously known as Kim Kook Heon x Song Yu Vin). He graduated from Hanlim Entertainment Arts High School and is enrolled in the Applied Music program at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts. He first appeared on TV in 2014 when he participated in "Superstar K6" and reached the Top-4. After the show ended, he made his debut the following year when he featured in Baek Ji Young's "Garosu-gil at Dawn" (새벽 가로수길) and sang OSTs for several dramas. In 2016, he released his first solo with the digital single "You to the Bone" (ft. BtoB's Minhyuk) and began acting. In 2017, he became MYTEEN's main vocalist with their first EP, "MyTeen Go!". Unfortunately, the group members began entering singing survival competitions like "MIXNINE" and "Produce X 101" and were unable to perform with a complete lineup for most of their activities. In August 2019, The Music Works (뮤직웍스) decided to disband the group. After his participation in "Produce X 101" (alongside Kim Kook Heon), the agency decided to form a unit duo, and they released the single "Blurry" in September 2019. And, after MYTEEN disbanded, the duo became an official act under the name B.O.Y, releasing their first EP "Phase One: You" in January 2020. However, his contract expired in April 2021 and he decided not to renew it, disbanding the duo as a result. (Source: MyDramaList).
