Taguchi Kei is a Japanese actor and voice actor born in Utsuda, Minamisaku, Nagano, Japan. After graduating from Nozawa Kita High School in Nagano, Japan, he graduated from the Department of English Literature at the University of Tokyo. He was associated with Ishi no Kai, Group Teibura, and Promotion Plus One, and was affiliated with the Hokuto Shichisei Project. In 1955, during his university years, he made his screen debut in the film "Aisureba Koso." In 1962, he founded the Shingekijo theater company and has since been active not only as an actor but also in directing, translation, and stage work.
