When the treasure of Fuso, the precious golden lotus, is lost in the human realm, the great matriarch of the clan wastes no time in dispatching a trio of foxes to find it. Tasked with returning the precious treasure to its rightful home, the red fox, Hong Xiao, the white fox, Qing Cheng and the black fox, Ye Sang, descend into the world of men. Searching high and low for the lost lotus, it doesn’t take long for them to realize it has attached itself to a traveling doctor by the name of Zhang Huai Sheng. In order to retrieve their lost treasure, the three foxes agree to use their wiles to charm Huai Sheng, hoping their efforts will provide the distraction they need to retrieve the lotus and return home.
