A much sought-after elixir of immortality fuels a love story that traverses three millennia. In modern-day China, a terracotta warrior from the terracotta museum begins to move and disappears on its own. A Japanese man named Haneda, who claims to be a descendent of Xu Fu, tries to find the living terracotta warrior who drank the elixir of immortality and secretly locate Emperor Qin’s tomb in Xi’an. In the meantime, young actors Zhu Lili and Lan Tian accidentally fall into a passage that leads to the tomb.
